What is it about the coast and countryside of the Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONBs) in Suffolk and Essex that attracts people from all over the world?

The Outstanding Landscapes project is a training and awareness programme for tourism businesses in the AONBs - celebrating the landscape features and local distinctiveness, and opening everyone's eyes to what's around them.

The project was launched to tourism businesses in Christchurch Mansion, Ipswich, amid the splendour of the Wolsey Gallery - with its newly restored The Mill Stream, newly acquired A Lime Kiln, and newly arrived six footer painting, Salisbury Cathedral from the Meadows 1831.

Outstanding Landscape workshops took place at a number of events in Suffolk and Essex during March, culminating in two workshops and tours with online training, in April.

Find out how outstanding your knowledge of the Suffolk and Essex AONBs is! The online training, in the form of 40 lively questions, is available now on the websites below.

Each participant receives a certificate, and a Really Useful Pack of quiz questions and answers, and relevant guides and leaflets.

To take part, go to the websites www.dedhamvalestourvalley.org and www.suffolkcoastandheaths.org
